Sea Sisters Cornish Hake With Seaweed & Butter

£10.00

Product Description

Sustainably Sourced | Hand-Crafted | British Conservas

Sea Sisters’ Cornish hake is wild-caught off the Cornish coast, then gently preserved in a rich butter infused with seaweed for a deeply savoury, melt-in-the-mouth experience. The natural sweetness of the hake is complemented by the oceanic depth of hand-harvested seaweed, creating a tinned seafood delicacy that’s ready to eat straight from the tin. (just pot into a pan of hot water for a few minutes).

Sea Sisters is committed to responsible fishing and aquaculture, ensuring the highest quality while protecting marine ecosystems. This hake is line-caught off the Cornish coast, supporting small-scale, low-impact fisheries that focus on maintaining healthy fish stocks and marine biodiversity.

Founded by Charlotte Dawe and Angus Cowen, Sea Sisters works closely with fisheries that prioritise sustainability, ensuring each tin is responsibly sourced. Inspired by the ‘conservas’ tradition of Spain and Portugal, their award-winning tinned seafood is produced using time-honoured techniques at their craft cannery in West Dorset.

The hake fillets are gently cured in flavour-packed, umami-rich butter infused with hand-harvested seaweed, adding depth, salinity, and a velvety mouthfeel to every bite.
